5I-5. Tree Enhancement Programs |
1(1) A notice of funding availability shall be published on the Florida Forest Service website, 16and will include a list of information that must be submitted by an applicant and how the applications are to be submitted.
38(2) The 40Florida Forest Service 43shall determine the amount of funds to be distributed through awards, the financial range of awards, and the distribution of funds into the urban, rural, 68or tree ehancement progam 72categories, 73based upon the availablity of federal, state, or donated funds83.
84(3) During any fiscal year, the 90Florida Forest Service 93may designate the use of up to ten percent (10%) of the 105program funds for adminstration and management111.
112(4) Contributors 114of donated funds 117to the 119Florida Forest Service trust fund 124may designate the county or counties where their 132donated 133funds will be used and 138for which tree enhancement program143.
144(5) All trees and/or seedlings planted must be of a species native to the State of Florida.
