5L-3. Aquaculture Best Management Practices |
1(1) Any person engaging in aquaculture must be certified by the department. The applicant for a certificate of registration shall submit the following to the department:
27(a) Applicant’s name/title.
30(b) Company name.
33(c) Complete mailing address.
37(d) Legal property description of all aquaculture facilities.
45(e) Actual physical street address for each aquaculture facility.
54(f) Description of production facilities.
59(g) Aquaculture products to be produced.
65(h) One Hundred dollar annual registration fee.
72(i) A copy of a current shellfish harvester education training certificate (required for all Aquaculture Certificates of Registration listing clams, mussels, scallops, or oysters as products).
98(2) The Department shall issue an aquaculture certificate of registration when an applicant:
111(a) Has submitted the required information pursuant to Section 120597.004(1), F.S.;
122(b) Signs a statement of intent to comply with the 132Best Management Practices (136BMPs) in Rule 1395L-3.003, 140F.A.C.;
141(c) Pays the appropriate fee to the Department; and,
150(d) Provides a copy of a current shellfish harvester education training certificate (required for all Aquaculture Certificates of Registration listing clams, mussels, scallops, or oysters as products).
