60GG-1.008. Compliance with the Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards
1(1) Agencies as defined in rule 760GG8-1.001, F.A.C., must comply with the 14Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards.
22(2) The Florida Information Technology Project Management Standards set forth in rules 3460GG35-1.001 through 3760GG38-1.008, F.A.C. will be applied to existing Agency information technology projects based on their current project management lifecycle phase as of July 1, 2015.
62(a) Projects that have not been approved for Initiation by the Agency must implement all sections of the standards set forth in this rule.
86(b) Projects that are in the Planning phase will undergo a Planning Gate Risk and Complexity Assessment upon completion of their detailed plans and will be subject to the project management control requirements of the standards authorized in this rule 126from that point. (See rules 13160GG132-1.002, 133F.A.C. 134‒ Risk and Complexity Assessment, and 14060GG141-1.004, 142F.A.C. 143– 144Planning)
145(c) Projects that are in the Execution phase will continue to operate under the specific Agency’s project management procedures, unless a significant Change Request is submitted (see rul173e 17460GG175-1.006 F.A.C. for the monitoring and controlling requirements for project change).
186(3) DMS will annually assess State Agency compliance with the standards set forth in this rule pursuant to section 282.0051(9), F.S.
207(a) DMS will assess compliance with the standards set forth in this rule via assessments of a subset of the State Agency’s IT projects.
231(b) The State Agency will provide the documentation or other artifacts required by the standards set forth in this rule for DMS assessment.
254(c) DMS will provide results of this compliance assessment to the State Agency, the Executive Office of the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House.
284(4) Agencies may request a variance or waiver from compliance with the standards set forth in this rule as defined in section 306120.542, F.S.
308(5) State Agencies 311receiving a variance or waiver pursuant to section 319120.542, F.S., 321are subject to the compliance assessment process described in subsection (3) above.
