61D-11.0145. Dominoes  


Effective on Sunday, September 7, 2008
  • 1(1) The backs of dominoes shall have a design that does not allow a player the ability to place concealed markings on the dominoes or to know the identity of any markings of the dots on either half of the face of the domino.

    45(2) Dominoes that are marked, defaced, chipped, substituted from another set, or deformed shall not be used.

    62(3) Sets of dominoes must be locked in a secure location when not in use.

    77(4) Prior to use, each domino must be inspected by the dominoes supervisor to ensure that no domino is marked, defaced, chipped, substituted from another set, or deformed.

    105(a) Dominoes damaged during the course of play must be replaced.

    116(b) Sets of dominoes that are marked, defaced, chipped, substituted from another set, or deformed shall be replaced and handled in the same manner as damaged cards under paragraph 14561D-11.014(5)(b), 146F.A.C.

    147(c) Sets of dominoes that have been removed from play shall be handled in the same manner as damaged cards under paragraph 16961D-11.014(5)(c), 170F.A.C.

    171(d) Only one set of dominoes at a time shall be maintained at a table. Each set of dominoes shall be rotated in and out of play at least every six hours.

    203(5) Internal controls shall be established for the issuance of all dominoes to the shift supervisor and the dominoes supervisors.
