61D-14.033. Progressive Displays and Controllers

  • 1(1) 2All progressive jackpot displays shall:

    7(a) Be visible to all players playing the machine;

    16(b) Show all values as dollars and cents; and

    25(c) S27how the progressive jackpot amount close to near real time.

    37(2) 38If any progressive system interfaces with the player tracking systems display, it must conform to the requirements of Rule 5761D-14.076, 58F.A.C.

    59(3) Any modification of a progressive systems contribution amount or base value shall require:

    73(a) Prior written approval from the division; and

    81(b) The presence of a division representative.

    88(4) When a progressive controller error occurs:

    95(a) An alert must be recorded by the progressive system; and

    106(b) The error condition must be visibly displayed to expedite repairs as soon as possible.

    121(5) In the event a progressive controller needs to be replaced outside normal DBPR working hours, a licensed representative from the manufacturer may replace the progressive controller with another progressive controller having the exact same configuration, provided a full report is generated and submitted to the division by 12:00 noon on the first business day following the completion of the replacement.
