61J2-3.013. Hardship Cases

  • 1(1) A physical hardship case pertaining to post licensing education includes:

    12(a) a licensee’s long term illness or an illness involving a close relative or person for whom the licensee has care-giving responsibilities;

    34(b) the required course is not reasonably available; or

    43(c) the licensee has an economic or technological hardship that substantially relates to the ability to complete education requirements.

    62(2) An illness or economic hardship case pertaining to reactivation education includes:

    74(a) A licensee’s long term illness or an illness involving a close relative or person for whom the licensee has care-giving responsibilities;

    96(b) The required course is not reasonably available; or

    105(c) The licensee has an economic or technological hardship that substantially relates to the ability to complete education requirements.

    124(3) An economic hardship is defined as the inabililty to meet reasonable basic living expenses.

    139(4) Any person requesting such hardship as cited above 148shall make a request to the Commission in writing, setting forth the basis of the alleged hardship. The Commission may require said request to be supported by additional documentation.
