62-520.510. Water Quality Criteria Exemptions for Installations Discharging Into Class G-III and G-IV Ground Water

  • 1The procedures of Rule 562-520.500, 6F.A.C., apply, except that the six findings in paragraphs 1562-520.500(1)(a)-16(f), F.A.C., are replaced with the four findings below.

    25(1) 26The exemption is for disposal of domestic effluent or reuse of reclaimed water or industrial effluent and such discharge is clearly in the public interest;

    51(52253) 54The economic, social and environmental costs of compliance with the existing criteria outweigh the economic, social and environmental benefits of compliance;

    75(76377) 78Suitable technology is used for the disposal system; and,

    87(88489) 90The discharge will not cause a violation of the standards for adjacent Class G-I or G-II ground water or surface waters affected by the ground water.
