62-704. Certification Of Resource Recovery Equipment |
1Recycling equipment 3that 4appears on the list below is 10considered 11to be recycling equipment and shall be certified by the Department as recycling equipment if other requirements for equipment eligibility, pursuant to Rule 3462-704.420, 35F.A.C., are 37satisfied38.
39(1) Preparation equipment which is used for reducing the size of recyclable materials for further processing:
55(a) Baling presses and tying equipment;
61(b) Crushers, flatteners and densifiers;
66(c) Cutters and shears;
70(d) Granulators;
72(e) Roll splitters; or
76(f) Shredders, flail mills, and hammer mills.
83(2) Separation equipment or machinery 88that 89is used for removing contaminants from recyclable materials:
97(a) Air classifiers;
100(b) Trommels and screens;
104(c) Heavy media separators;
108(d) Magnetic separators; or
112(e) Glass beneficiation equipment.
116(3117) Materials handling equipment that 122is exclusively used to move recyclable materials to or from other recycling equipment within the recycling facility or plant site:
142(a) Cranes equipped with electromagnets or grapples;
149(b) Conveyor belts;
152(c) Skid steer loaders; or
157(d) Front end loaders.
161(4) Materials handling equipment that is used exclusively to transfer or transport recyclable materials from the point of generation to the recycling facility:
184(a) Trucks delivered with specially designed recycling bodies;
192(b) Carts specially designed to store recyclables prior to transfer to a recyclable collection vehicle; 207and
208(c) Bins specially designed to store recyclables prior to transfer to 219a recyclable collection vehicle.
