1The Department’s intent in this rule is to inform and raise awareness with the state-financed constructor of the potential impacts of sea level rise and increased storm risk on potentially at-risk structures or infrastructure. Implementation of the findings of the SLIP studies is at the discretion of the state-financed constructor.
