63N-1.0095. Suicide Precaution Methods

1Detention Centers, residential commitment programs and day treatment programs must utilize either Precautionary Observation or Secure Observation as a Suicide Precaution method when a youth is identified as having Suicide Risk Factors, or determined to be a Potential Suicide Risk. The decision whether to use Secure Observation or Precautionary Observation as a Suicide Precaution method for a particular youth shall be made by the superintendent or program director and Designated Mental Health Clinician Authority or other Licensed Mental Health Professional.
