64B1-9.006. Mediation

  • 1(1) “Mediation” means a process whereby a mediator is appointed by the Department to encourage and facilitate resolution of a legally sufficient complaint. It is an informal and non-adversarial process with the objective of assisting the parties or the complainant and the subject of a complaint to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.

    53(2) The Board finds that mediation is an acceptable method of dispute resolution for the first alleged violation of failure to conspicuously identify the licensee by name in an advertisement, in violation of Rule 8764B1-9.007, 88F.A.C.
