64B21-502.001. Continuing Education

  • 1Every applicant for licensure renewal shall complete 30 hours of continuing education credit. Two of the 30 hours must be on the prevention of medical errors consistent with Section 30456.013, F.S. 32Every six years, each licensee shall complete two hours of continuing psychological education on domestic violence as defined in Section 52741.28, F.S., 54as a part of and not in addition to the hours required for biennial licensure renewal. The licensee shall retain for six years certificates of attendance or other records to document the completion of the continuing education requirement. The Department will audit at random a number of licensees as is necessary to assure that the continuing education requirements are met.
