1(1) “AAB” means The American Association of Bioanalysts.
9(2) “ABB” means The American Board of Bioanalysis.
17(3) “ABCC” means American Board of Clinical Chemistry.
25(4) “ABD” means American Board of Dermatology.
32(5) “ABFT” means American Board of Forensic Toxicology.
40(6) “ABHES” means The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

The term does not include applied science as defined in subsection 41664B3-2.003(6), 417F.A.C.
418(53) “Bachelor’s Degree” means a four year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
434(54) “Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology” means a four year baccalaureate degree earned at an accredited program, pursuant to subsection 45464B3-2.003(9), 455F.A.C.
456(55) “Medical Technology Training Program” means an ABHES, CAAHEP, NAACLS, board approved training program for clinical/medical laboratory scientists or medical technologists, pursuant to subsections 48064B3-2.003(9) 481and (16), F.A.C., or Department of Defense programs that are equivalent to a board approved training program.
498(56) “Semester Hour” means one hour of credit in an accredited college or university, pursuant to subsection 51564B3-2.003(1), 516F.A.C., or foreign education equated, pursuant to subsection 52464B3-6.002(6), 525F.A.C.
526(57) This rule shall be reviewed, and if necessary, repealed, modified, or renewed through the rulemaking process five years from effective date.
