64E-5. Control Of Radiation Hazards |
1(1) Unless otherwise exempted, a licensee shall transfer waste for disposal, discharge, or decay licensed material only:
18(a) By transfer to an authorized recipient as specified in Rule 2964E-5.332, 30F.A.C., or in Part II of these regulations or to the U.S. Department of Energy;
45(b) By decay in storage;
50(c) By release in effluents within the limits in Rule 6064E-5.312, 61F.A.C.; or
63(d) As authorized in this subpart.
69(2) A person shall be specifically licensed to receive waste containing licensed material from other persons for:
86(a) Treatment prior to disposal;
91(b) Treatment by incineration;
95(c) Decay in storage;
99(d) Disposal at a licensed land disposal facility; or
108(e) Storage until transferred to a storage or disposal facility authorized to receive the waste.
