64E-5.657. Training for Experienced RSO, Teletherapy or Medical Physicist, Authorized Medical Physicist, Authorized User, Nuclear Pharmacist, and Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist
1(1)(a) An individual identified as a RSO, a teletherapy or medical physicist, or a nuclear pharmacist on a NRC or agreement state license or a permit issued by a NRC or agreement state broad scope licensee or master material license permit or by a master material license permittee of broad scope, need not comply with the training requirements of Rule 6164E-5.648, 6264E-5.656 63or 6464E-5.659, 65F.A.C., respectively.
67(b) An individual identified as a RSO, an authorized medical physicist, or an authorized nuclear pharmacist on a NRC or agreement state license or a permit issued by a NRC or agreement state broad scope licensee or master material license permit or by a master material license permittee of broad scope, need not comply with the training requirements of Rule 12764E-5.648, 12864E-5.656 129or 13064E-5.659, 131F.A.C., respectively.
133(2) Physicians, dentists, or podiatrists identified as authorized users for the medical use of radioactive material on a license issued by the NRC or agreement state, a permit issued by a NRC master material licensee, a permit issued by a NRC or agreement state broad scope licensee, or a permit issued by a NRC master material license broad scope permittee who perform only those medical uses for which they were authorized, need not comply with the training requirements of Rule 21364E-5.649, 21464E-5.650, 21564E-5.660, 21664E-5.661, 21764E-5.662, 21864E-5.663, 21964E-5.652, 22064E-5.653, 22164E-5.654 222or 22364E-5.655, 224F.A.C.
225(3) Individuals who need not comply with training requirements as described in this section may serve as preceptors for, and supervisors of, applicants seeking authorization on department radioactive materials licenses for the same uses for which these individuals are authorized.
