64E-5. Control Of Radiation Hazards |
1A licensee may use radioactive materials or a radiation source from radioactive materials approved for medical use which is not specifically addressed in Rule 2564E-5.626, 2664E-5.627, 2764E-5.630, 2864E-5.631, 2964E-5.632 30or 3164E-5.634, 32F.A.C., provided the following are satisfied:
38(1) The applicant or licensee has received written approval from the department in a license or license amendment and uses the material in accordance with the regulations and specific license conditions the department considers necessary for the medical use of the material;
80(2) The applicant or licensee has submitted the information required by Rules 9264E-5.207 93and 9464E-5.208, 95F.A.C.; and
97(3) The licensee shall provide specific information on the following:
107(a) Radiation safety precautions and instruction;
113(b) Methodology for measuring dosages or doses to be administered to patients or human research subjects;
129(c) Calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment necessary for radiation safety; and
143(d) Security of radioactive materials, training or experience of individuals involved in these uses or other information not specified in paragraph 16464E-5.664(3)(a), 165(b) or (c), F.A.C.
