69L-56. Electronic Data Interchange (Edi) Requirements For Proof Of Coverage And Claims (Non-Medical) |
1For any workers’ compensation insurance policy, contract of insurance or renewal written for an 15e16mployee leasing company or clients of an 23e24mployee leasing company, with a policy effective date on or after October 1, 2009, the insurer shall electronically file any workers’ compensation insurance policy, contract of insurance, or renewal pursuant to the requirements set forth in Rule 6169L-56.210, 62F.A.C., and report one of the Employee Leasing Policy Idenitification Codes shown below from Section 6 of the IAIABC EDI Implementation Guide for Proof of Coverage: Insured, Employer, Header, Trailer 92& 93Acknowledgement Records, Release 2.1, 6/01/07 Edition and Supplement:
101(1021103) Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (2) – identifies an Employee leasing policy for leased workers of multiple client companies. The non-leased workers of the 128e129mployee leasing company may also be covered under this policy. The insured name reported shall be the name of the 149e150mployee leasing company and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Rel162ease 2.1 Insured Record (PC1). 167The client names reported shall be the legal business name of each client company, and shall not be preceded with the name of the Employee leasing company and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Release 2.1 Employer Record(s) (PC2).
207(a) 208If an 210e211mployee leasing company policy is reported with the Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (2), an 226e227mployee leasing policy for leased workers of multiple client companies, the Insurer shall report the addition of client companies to the policy in accordance with subsection 25369L-56.210(2), 254F.A.C., using Triplicate Codes 00-31-54, 00-31-87 or 00-31-86.
262(b) 263If an Employee leasing company policy is reported with Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (2), an 279e280mployee leasing policy for leased workers of multiple client companies, the Insurer shall report the deletion of client companies from the policy in accordance with subsection 30669L-56.210(2), 307F.A.C., using Triplicate Codes 00-33-56 or 00-33-87.
314(c) 315Cancellation or non-renewal of the entire policy for Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (2) shall be reported in accordance with Rule 33669L-56.200, 337F.A.C.
338(3392340) Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (3) – identifies an 350e351mployee leasing policy for non-leased workers of the Employee leasing company. The insured name reported shall be the legal business name of the Employee leasing company and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Release 2.1 Insured Record (PC1).
390Cancellation or non-renewal of a policy for Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (3) shall be reported in accordance with Rule 41069L-56.200, 411F.A.C.
412(4133414) Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (4) – identifies a 424c425lient company policy for leased workers of the 433c434lient company. The insured name reported shall be the name of the Client company and shall not be preceded with the name of the Employee leasing company and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Release 2.1 Insured Record (PC1).
474Cancellation or non-renewal of a policy for the Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (4) shall be reported in accordance with Rule 49569L-56.200, 496F.A.C.
497(4984499) Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (5) – identifies an Employee leasing policy for leased workers of a single client company. The insured name reported shall be the name of the Employee leasing company and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Release 2.1 Insured Record (PC1). The client name reported shall be the legal business name of the client company, and shall not be preceded with the name of the Employee leasing company, and shall be reported on the IAIABC POC Release 2.1 Employer Record(s) (PC2).
586Cancellation or non-renewal of a policy for Employee Leasing Policy Identification Code (5) shall be reported in accordance with Rule 60669L-56.200, 607F.A.C.
