69O-154.304. Notice of Occurrence of a Qualifying Event

Effective on Thursday, May 4, 2006

1Each contract, policy, certificate and handbook must contain a Notice of Occurrence of a Qualifying Event provision. This provision must include the information required by Section 27627.6692(5)(d)1., F.S. 29The beneficiary shall notify the carrier in writing within sixty-three (63) days, as evidenced by postmark, after the occurrence of the qualifying event or the termination of coverage whichever is later.
