6A-7.040. Purposes of School Food Service Rules (Transferred to 5P-1.001)

Effective on Tuesday, May 3, 1988

1School food service rules have the following purposes:

9(1) To comply with the National School Lunch Act (P.L. 79-396 and amendments), Child Nutrition Act (P.L. 89-642 and amendments), Omnibus Reconciliation Act (P.L. 97-35 and amendments) and Section 228.195, Florida Statutes.

41(2) To provide standards and procedures for operating the school food service programs, the child care food program and the summer food program.
