9B-24.004. Distribution of Funds (Transferred)

  • 1Based on the availability of funds each year, the distribution of funds shall be made as follows:

    18(1) The Department shall retain a percentage of the total funds received not to exceed 5 percent, for the administration of the program in accordance with 4410 CFR Part 440.

    48(2) The Department may set aside up to 10 percent of the funds remaining for performance funding after DCA administrative and training and technical assistance funds are deducted. Performance Funding is an amount set aside for future allocations to subgrantees based on:

    90(a) Management and production of current contract;

    97(b) Production propensity based on past program analysis;

    105(c) Timeliness of reporting; and,

    110(d) Accuracy of reporting.

    114(3) An equal base amount for each county and the two federally recognized Indian Tribes.

    129(4) An amount for each county based on its climate zone location within the state. This amount is based on the number of heating degree days within the zone as determined from information supplied by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (National Weather Service).

    173(5) An amount for each county based on the percentage of residents at or below the OMB poverty guidelines.
