25-7.048. Continuity of Service  


Effective on Sunday, May 4, 1975
  • 1(1) Each utility shall make all reasonable efforts to prevent interruptions of service and when such interruptions occur shall endeavor to re-establish service with the shortest possible delay consistent with the safety of its consumers and the general public.

    40(2) When the service is necessarily interrupted or curtailed for the purpose of working on the system, it shall be done at a time which will cause the least inconvenience to consumers and all such planned interruptions shall be preceded by adequate notice to all affected customers.

    87(3) The provisions of this rule shall not apply to customers receiving service under so-called interruptible rate classifications.
