53ER13. Emergency Rule For Year 2013 |
1(1) Beginning Monday, February 4, 2013, through Sunday, March 3, 2013, the Florida Lottery will conduct the FLORIDA TREASURE HUNT Retailer Promotion in which Florida Lottery retailers will have a chance to win $10,000.
36(2) Florida Lottery retailers who complete a Retailer “Free Drink” Participation Form DOL-482, Eff. 11/12, 51and return it to a Florida Lottery sales representative by January 25, 2013, 64will be entered into one of eighteen drawings on March 13, 2013. One drawing from corporate retailer entries and one drawing from independent retailer entries will be held for each of the nine Florida Lottery sales districts to randomly select one winning retailer per category. Form DOL-482 is in hereby incorporated by reference and may be obtained from any Florida Lottery office. By completing Form DOL-482, retailers agree to provide customers who purchase two FLORIDA TREASURE HUNT scratch-off lottery tickets a free 16-ounce Florida Lottery cup and a free drink (coffee or fountain drink) while supplies last. For independent retailers, Form DOL-482 shall be completed by an authorized representative. For corporate retailers, Form DOL-482 shall be completed by an authorized corporate representative on behalf of the retailer’s participating chain stores.
194(3) Each qualifying retailer will receive one entry into one drawing determined by district and retailer category (corporate or independent). Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the following table.

315(4) A total of eighteen $10,000 prizes will be awarded in the FLORIDA TREASURE HUNT Retailer Promotion.
333(5) 334Retailers will receive their promotional prize check within three weeks of the 346drawing.
347(6) Retailers whose Florida Lottery contracts are terminated or inactivated prior to the promotional prize award shall be paid the promotional prize provided the termination or inactivation was not due to non-compliance with Florida Lottery laws, rules or contract terms.
387(7) A promotional prize will be considered compensation to the retailer for Internal Revenue Service purposes. The Florida Lottery reserves the right to apply the promotional prize awarded against a retailer’s outstanding debt to the Florida Lottery.
424(8) 425Retailers will be subject to disqualification from the drawing for failing to provide a free Florida Lottery cup and free drink in conjunction with a qualifying purchase.
