53ER16. Emergency Rule For Year 2016 |
1(1) 2The Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE6™ 7game sales period is October 31, 2016, 14through January 2, 2017. 18During the sales period, Florida Lottery retailers will earn one entry in up to two retailer drawings for every fifth Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE ticket sold at their retailer location for a chance to win $2,000, per drawing.
56(2) There are two draw dates on which eighteen drawings (one corporate drawing and one independent drawing in each of nine sales districts) will be conducted: December 7, 2016, and January 10, 2017. A total of thirty-six drawings will be conducted by the Florida Lottery using a certified random number generation process.
108(3) The December 7, 2016, drawings will include entries earned during the sales period of October 31, 2016, through midnight 128(129ET130) 131on November 30, 2016. The number of entries drawn and prizes awarded will be in accordance with the following table:

398A grand total of twenty-six $2,000 prizes will be awarded.
409(5) In all drawings, for retailer categories in which there is more than one prize, the prizes will be awarded in the order entries are drawn. An individual retailer location may only win one prize, per drawing. Alternate entries will be drawn in each drawing. The number of alternate entries drawn will be twice the number of prizes to be awarded. Alternate entries will be used as needed in the order in which they are drawn to award a prize in the event a retailer’s entry is disqualified. Retailers will be subject to disqualification if the Florida Lottery determines that:
509(a) T511he retailer has already been awarded a prize in that drawing;
522(b) T524he retailer is not in good financial standing with the Florida Lottery at the time of prize payment, 542or
543(c) T545he retailer is not in an “active” retailer status at the time of prize payment.
560(5616) Winning retailers will receive their promotional prize check within approximately thirty days of the 576drawing.
577(7) A promotional prize will be considered compensation to the retailer for Int590ernal Revenue Service purposes.
