53ER17. Emergency Rule For Year 2017 |
1(1) Beginning November 13, 2017, the Florida Lottery will conduct the POWERBALL13® 14Instant Win Promotion (“Promotion”) to celebrate the 2522th 23anniversary of the multi-state lottery Draw game (also known as an online lottery game), POWERBALL38®39.
40(2) For every 2544th 45$12 or more POWERBALL49® 50with Power Play53® 54single ticket purchased statewide during the Promotion, a $25 Cash Prize Coupon will be produced. The $25 Cash Prize Coupon will automatically print separately following the triggering POWERBALL82® 83with Power Play86® 87ticket. A winning sound will play on the terminal and the POWERBALL99® 100with Power Play ticket will contain a “Prize Alert!” symbol at the bottom of the ticket and a message at the top of the ticket that says “Congratulations! You win a $25 Instant Cash Prize! Obtain your Cash Prize Coupon from Retailer.” Winners can redeem a $25 Cash Prize Coupon immediately at any Florida Lottery retailer or any Florida Lottery district office. Coupons may not be redeemed by mail. Coupons received in the mail by the Florida Lottery will not be redeemed or returned. Individual POWERBALL186® 187with Power Play190® 191tickets that have a cost that does not exceed $12 do not qualify for this Promotion, and cannot be combined to qualify for this Promotion.
216(3) Should an issue arise concerning the transaction and/or prize, it is the player’s responsibility to seek resolution of the issue with the retailer and the Lottery prior t245o leaving the retail location.
250(4) $25 Cash Prize Coupons must be redeemed by February 28, 2018.
262(5) The Promotion will conclude after 23,120 $25 Cash Prize Coupons are generated statewide.
277(6) All prizes are subject to the provisions of Chapter 24, F289.290S291., 292and rules promulgated thereunder. Except as otherwise provided herein, $25 Cash Prize Coupons will be paid in accordance with the rule of the Florida Lottery governing payment of prizes. Copies of the current prize payment rule can be obtained from the Florida Lottery, Office of the General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-4011.
