59A-25. Minimum Standards For Home Medical Equipment Providers |
1In addition to definitions contained in Chapters 400, Part VII, and 408, Part II, F.S., the following terms shall apply 21to this rule chapter25:
26(1) “AHCA” means Agency for Health Care Administration.
34(2) “Central Service Center” means the licensed premises that are in charge of taking consumer orders, dispatching the orders to licensed distribution centers owned and operated by the same licensee that provide home medical equipment services, and maintaining consumer and personnel records. The central service center is responsible for the operation of its designated distribution centers.
90(3) “Distribution centers” means those licensed premises that are not located at the address of the central service center but are owned and operated by the same licensee, receive orders from the central service center and are utilized to provide home medical equipment services.
134(4) “HME” means home medical equipment.
