59A-5.016. Physical Plant Maintenance

Effective on Monday, November 13, 1995

1(1) Each ambulatory surgical center shall establish written policies and procedures designed to maintain the physical plant and overall ambulatory surgical center environment in such a manner that the safety and well-being of patients is assured. The building and mechanical maintenance program shall be under the supervision of a qualified person.

52(2) All mechanical and electrical equipment shall be maintained in working order, and shall be accessible for cleaning and inspection.
