61D-14. Pari-Mutuel Wagering Facility Slot Machine Operations |
1(1) Each slot cash storage box shall:
8(a) Have a separate lock that shall only be opened by a key that is secured under the slot machine licensee’s system of internal controls as provided in subsection 3761D-14.053(2), 38F.A.C.;
39(b) Have a device that prohibits access to the contents of the slot cash storage box, when it is removed from the machine; and
63(c) Have an asset number that corresponds to the asset number of its assigned machine and is identifiable by the surveillance system referenced in Rule 8861D-14.054, 89F.A.C.
90(2) Emergency slot cash storage boxes that are used when the slot cash storage boxes of a specific machine are not available shall be maintained without asset numbers, provided:
119(a) The word “emergency” is permanently imprinted, affixed or impressed thereon; and
131(b) The emergency slot cash storage box is temporarily marked with the asset number of the machine to which it is assigned.
153(3) Nothing in this rule shall be interpreted to prohibit the use of a bar code or similar device for tracking of slot cash storage boxes, so long as the requirements of this section are met.
