62-532.420. Emergency Water Well Permits

1(1) Permission to begin construction, repair, or abandonment of any well may be applied for by telephone when emergency conditions exist that justify such a request. The permitting authority shall grant an emergency permit to avert an imminent and substantial danger to the public health, safety, or welfare.

49(2) The applicant for an emergency permit shall reduce his application to writing in accordance with the provisions of Rule 6962-532.400, 70F.A.C., and submit it within ten days. All other provisions of this chapter shall remain applicable.
