62-672. Minimum Requirements For Earthen Dams Used In Phosphate Mining And Beneficiation Operations And For Dikes Used In Phosphogypsum Stack System Impoundments |

1(1) Any new phosphogypsum stack or lateral expansion thereof as defined in subsection 1462-673.200(9), 15F.A.C., shall be designed in accordance with the minimum standards of Chapter 62-673, F.A.C., with an overall factor of safety of 1.5 for any potential failure surface encompassing the impoundment on top of the stack and passing through the gypsum slope or bottom liner interfaces, or extending into earthen material in contact with the bottom liner.
71(2) The maximum height of a starter dike for new phosphogypsum stacks or lateral expansions thereof shall be equal to or lower than the height of the associated lined perimeter dike.
