64B8-4.028. Temporary Certificate for Visiting Physician to Practice in Approved Cancer Center

Effective on Wednesday, January 31, 2001

1(1) The qualifications necessary for a facility to be an “approved cancer center,” pursuant to Section 18458.3135, F.S., 20shall be that the facility is licensed under Chapter 395, F.S., has met the standards to be a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, and has submitted documentation to the Board that those requirements have been met.

56(2) The term “direct supervision” as used in Section 65458.3135, F.S., 67shall require the physical presence of the supervising physician on the premises so that the supervising physician is immediately available when needed.
