64B9-5.014. Continuing Education for Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace

  • 1Each course on recognizing impairment in the workplace shall include, at a minimum, the following subject areas:

    18(1) Identifying the signs of impairment in the workplace;

    27(2) Employer initiatives to promote safety and provide assistance;

    36(3) The essential steps to make a report or referral;

    46(4) Mandatory reporting law, Section 51464.018, F.S.;

    53(5) Treatment programs for impaired practitioners, Section 60456.076, F.S.; 62and,

    63(6) Impairmen65t treatment.
