64E-5.1108. Labeling  


Effective on Saturday, January 1, 1994
  • 1(1) Each source, source holder or logging tool containing radioactive material shall bear a durable, legible and clearly visible marking or label, which has, as a minimum, the standard radiation caution symbol as described and illustrated in Rule 3964E-5.322, 40F.A.C., without the conventional color requirement, and the following wording:

    50DANGER (OR “CAUTION”)

    53RADIOACTIVE

    54This label shall be on the smallest component transported as a separate piece of equipment.

    69(2) Each transport container shall have permanently attached to it a durable, legible and clearly visible label which has, as a minimum, the standard radiation caution symbol as described and illustrated in Rule 10264E-5.322, 103F.A.C., and the following wording:
