65C-29. Protective Investigations |
1(1) The transfer of a child protective investigation within and between circuits shall be initiated by the supervisor 19requesting the transfer 22via telephone or e-mail within 24 hours of identification of the need for transfer.
36(2) Prior to initiating the request for transfer, the supervisor shall ensure that all 50information collected to date and the specific circumstances warranting the transfer are fully documented in the investigative file68.
69(3) Any disagreements regarding the acceptance of a transfer request between supervisors shall be referred directly to 86each region’s program manager or designee 92for resolution within 24 hours of the refusal of the transfer request.
