6A-1.080. Maximum Extent of Leave

Effective on Thursday, December 5, 1974

1No leave, except military leave, shall be granted at one time for a period greater than one year, but the school board may adopt policies whereby a new application for leave may be filed at the expiration of leave and new leave granted at the discretion of the board. Such policies shall be based on the requirements of efficient operation of the district school system as well as on consideration of what is fair to the employee. Automatic renewals of leave shall not be allowed.
