9B-22.007. Funds Distribution (Transferred)  


Effective on Monday, January 19, 1998
  • 1(1) At least 90 percent of the funds will be available for distribution in accordance with the CSBG State plan required by the Federal government to qualified grantees as defined in paragraphs 339B-22.002(8)(a) 34and (b), F.A.C.

    37(2) Up to 5 percent of these funds may be used by the Department for State administration of the CSBG program.

    58(3) If funds remain after all grants have been processed, they may be distributed by the Department for demonstration and research programs or carried over to the next fiscal year.

    88(4) Funding of the community action agencies shall be awarded based on an allocation plan designed to facilitate statewide expansion of the community action network and a gradual equalization of funding based in part on the percentage of the poverty population for the service area.

    133(5) Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds distributed by the Department to eligible entities, which have not been expended, shall be returned to the eligible entity for carryover into the next fiscal year for program activities consistent with the CSBG program. Prior to carryover of unexpended funds, these monies must be returned to the Department at the time of close-out.
