    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, State of Florida has received the petition for declaratory statement from Shores of Panama Resort Community Association, Inc. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of paragraph 718.1265(1)(b) as it applies to the petitioner.

    Whether, upon the cancellation or the postponement of the annual meeting and pursuant to paragraph 718.1265(1)(b), Florida Statutes, the Association must maintain the original slate of nominees for the board or whether the Association may restart the election process and accordingly, reopen the period wherein owners may submit their intention to run for the board.
