    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of this rule development notice is to, during calendar year 2016, amend or establish methods for taking freshwater fish, gear specifications, bag or size limits, seasons, and other management or enforcement regulation as a result of stock assessments or other management or enforcement requirements. Amendments may also be made to address, ambiguity, improve wording, other technical edits, and general cleanup in the rules relating to freshwater fish. In addition to the minor technical edits, FWC intends to look into specific amendments concerning black bass regulation.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Subject areas addressed in the rule development notice include size limits, and bag limits for black bass and other subjects encompassed by the above-cited rules.

    RULEMAKING AUTHORITY: Art. IV, Sec. 9, Florida Constitution.

    LAW IMPLEMENTED: Art. IV, Sec. 9, Florida Constitution.
