40E-6.011Policy and Purpose
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 7, 2015, the South Florida Water Management District (District) received a petition for waiver from the Florida Department of Transportation (Application No. 15-0107-1) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the North New River Canal for installation of a fence upon lands situated immediately north of the S.R. 7 and Interstate 595 interchange; Sections 15 and 19, Township 50 South, Ranges 41 and 42 East, Broward County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), and paragraph 40E-6.221(3)(j), F.A.C., which governs placement of permanent and semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
