Notice is hereby given that the Board of Nursing has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Robin Lapham, on October 22, 2018. The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to whether it is within the scope of practice of a registered nurse to instill low dose thrombolytics into an existing chest tube for treatment of infections within the pleural fluid that are not responsive to antibiotics and/or are not draining effectively. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
