NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 16, 2020, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Community Healthy of South Florida Inc. at 228 Atlantic Blvd, Key Largo, FL. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of Rule 3002.4, Chpt 30 Florida Building Code, 2017 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires elevator car to accommodate an ambulance stretcher which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 14 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2020-009).
