The Board of Dentistry hereby gives notice:

Of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Waiver or Variance, filed on October 1, 2013, by Kimberly Artis. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 39, No. 201, of the October 15, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 64B5-2.0135, F.A.C., entitled “Dental Hygiene Examination”. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting, held November 15, 2013, in Gainesville, Florida.

The Board’s Order, filed November 26, 2013, denied the petition finding that Petitioner failed to meet the initial licensure predicate of passing an ADEX examination on or after June 1, 2010, and did not meet the underlying purpose of Section 466.007, F.S.
