    62-610.472:Supplemental Water Supplies

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 1, 2013, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for a variance from Lee County Utilities requesting relief from subparagraph 62-610.472(4)(a)4., F.A.C., which requires supplemental water supply pipes and appurtenances to be color coded and marked to differentiate them from reclaimed water and potable water facilities. The Petitioner requests a variance be granted from color coding and marking of an existing buried abandoned water line to be utilized as a supplemental ground water transmission main to augment a reclaimed water system. The existing abandoned water line is located behind the residences on the east side of Bartow Blvd., north and south of Coral Gables Rd., in Lee County, zip code 33967. The Petition has been assigned OGC File No. 13-1224. Written comments must be received by the person below no later than 14 days from the date of publication of this notice.
