    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule development is to include the following provisions in the program rule: Ensure consistency within the rule and F.S. 374 and define terms for land acquisition eligibility, clarify public navigation eligibility, add marine fire-fighting vessel eligibility, clarify accounting for fees, and determine environmental restoration parameters.
    The effect of the rule development is to implement changes in the administration of the District’s Assistance Programs that will assist the District and program applicants in the review and evaluation of applications submitted pursuant to the rule.
