    Notice of Bid

    The University of Florida, Purchasing Services will receive sealed bids for the following: ITB15MB-126, PPD Maintenance Building 702 Reroof Project MP00126, estimated budget: $650,000.00 to be opened on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m., at University of Florida, Purchasing Services, 971 Elmore Drive, 101 Elmore Hall Conference Room, Gainesville, FL. Scope of Work: Removal and disposal of the Roofing System including, but not limited to the Single-Ply Rubber roof covering, and sloped, Lightweight (LW) Concrete, over Varying Thickness EPS Foam, over BUR (mostly removed gravel over Coal Tar Pitch and 2-plies of asbestos felt over flashing cement), over Rosin Paper. Full description of Scope of work may be found in bid document under specification, section 01010.

    Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at the University of Florida PPD Building 702, Room 143, Radio Road, Gainesville, FL 32611 with mandatory site visit to follow. It will be the sole responsibility of the attendees to allow sufficient time to ensure prompt attendance.
