NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Heritage Investment Group, Inc. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 660, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

On 11/18/2019, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation received a Petition for Declaratory Statement from Heritage Investment Group, Inc. The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office whether Petitioner "may incorporate or organize an affiliated Florida corporation or limited liability company for the purpose of acting as a corporate trust protector and, in doing so, it will not violate Section 660.41, Florida Statutes, or any other rules or regulations prohibiting a corporation from acting in any fiduciary capacity."
