    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Board of Podiatric Medicine has received the petition for declaratory statement from Robert G. Smith DPM, MSc RPh CPed CPRS, filed on October 22, 2019.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Rule 64B18-17.001(d) as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks a determination from the Board regarding the scope of practice for a licensed podiatric physician to be authorized to lecture other podiatric physicians on the topic of safe and effective prescribing of controlled substances, as required by paragraph 456.0301(1)(a), Florida Statutes, as a required course at no cost to the attendees, as it pertains to the rule. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
