NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 15, 2013, the Department of Health received a petition for variance from Lee Rashkin, Director of Sales and Marketing, representing Presby Environmental, Inc. Specifically, the petitioner seeks a variance from paragraphs 64E-6.009(3)(d) and (e), subsection (4), and paragraph (7)(e); paragraph 64E-6.014(5)(b); and subsection 64E-6.026(1), Florida Administrative Code, which require drainfield sizing to be based on Rule 64E-6.008, Table I and Table III, or on paragraph 64E-6.009(3)(d); the distance between the bed sidewall and center of the outside drainline to be no more than 18 inches and no less than 6 inches; and alternative drainfield materials to not be approved with a reduction in drainfield size to be less than mineral aggregate based on using the soil surface at the bottom of the drainfield for comparison.
