The Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This is the third public rule development workshop for proposed amendments to Chapter 62-6, Florida Administrative Code, (F.A.C.), Standards for Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems, relating to private provider inspections. An initial Notice of Rule Development for Rules 62-6.002, 62-6.003, 62-6.027 and 62-6.030, F.A.C., was published in the Florida Administrative Register on July 1, 2022, Vol. 48/128. A second Notice of Rule Development for Rules 62-6.001 and 62-6.024, F.A.C., was published in the Florida Administrative Register on November 18, 2022, Vol. 48/225. These proposed rule amendments, as directed by subsection 381.0065(8), Florida Statutes, will update regulatory requirements and definitions, and create a new Rule 62-6.024, F.A.C., relating to private provider inspectors and updated forms.
