NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received a petition for declaratory statement from Palmwood Construction, Hernando County, & the Florida Home Builders Association. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Sections 310.6 & 903.2.8.1, Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014), Building & Chapter 419, F.S., as they apply to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether the project at issue is classified as a single-family non-commercial unit for permitting purposes.
