    The Clay County Development Authority (the “CCDA”) is seeking a qualified individual or firm to conduct a feasibility study for the development of a co-working space in Clay County for CCDA, which is an independent special district of the State of Florida.

    Attached herewith is information that may be helpful to you in deciding if you or your firm is interested in this engagement.

    REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

    The Clay County Development Authority (“CCDA”) is seeking a qualified individual or firm to conduct a feasibility study for the development of a co-working space in Clay County for CCDA, which is an independent special district of the State of Florida. Those interested in providing these services should formally submit a proposal and other information that is detailed herewith addressed to Josh Cockrell, Clay County Development Authority, 1734 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, to be received by Monday, February 9, 2015, at 12:00 Noon.

    1. Consideration will be given to qualified individuals or firms having the most experience conducting feasibility studies specifically for co-working spaces. See attached Exhibit 1 for specific requirements.
    2. Individuals or firms should identify the principal or person(s) who will actually be supervising and managing the services to be provided and performed. Qualifications and experience of this/these individual(s) should be submitted with the information supplied. Please submit any credentials, certifications, professional designations, and/or licenses for these persons.
    3. Firms or individuals interested in providing the requested services shall provide a bid that encompasses the services and any cost related items they will charge for this engagement.
    4. The CCDA will also entertain any additional information that would be helpful in making an ultimate decision including references and proximity of business to Clay County, FL. An appointed CCDA Committee may be assigned to recommend to the CCDA based on all such submitted information.
    5. The Proposal must be submitted no later than Monday, February 9, 2015, at 12:00 Noon. At its discretion, the CCDA, or the CCDA Committee tasked with making its recommendation to the CCDA, may request any additional information that may be helpful in the evaluation process.
    6. The factors to be considered by the CCDA in evaluating the Proposals are 1.) Experience of personnel; 2.) Ability to furnish the required services; 3.) Flexibility; 4.) Ability to adapt to the CCDA’s goals and objectives; and, 5.) Compensation.

    The CCDA reserves the right accept or reject any or all proposals submitted and to make a final decision in the best interest of the Clay County Development Authority. One or more selected proposers may be asked to make preliminary presentations and submit to an interview with an appointed CCDA Committee assigned to this task, in charge or making a recommendation for final selection to the CCDA. Up to three (3) proposers may be short-listed for the purpose of making a final presentation in person to the CCDA Board, prior to CCDA’s final selection.
